Wenn Sie einmal jemand Fragt:
Kennst du den “Neptun Stein” oder die “Horst Friedrich Schneider Kurve” oder sagt dir der “Rohrbrücken & FotoToni Schwall” etwas? Dann war Ihr Bekannter wahrscheinlich mit Sport Ossi beim Rafting in Tirol. Die Imster Schlucht ist die beliebteste und ich finde die schönste Rafting Strecke in Tirol. Natürlich gibt es immer härtere Strecken, wie die Ötztaler Ache oder die Sanna bei viel Wasser, aber die Imsti, wie sie von uns Bootsführern genannt wird, bietet alle möglichen Variationen des Raftings. Pro Jahr fahren ungefähr 120.000 Gäste mit konzessionierten Unternehmen und staatl. geprüften Bootsführern auf der ca. 17 km langen Strecke und werden somit zu “Imsti’s”, sofern der Bootsführer mit ihnen zufrieden war. Man benötigt je nach Wasserstand ungefähr 1-1,5 Stunden und die Wassertemperatur beträgt ca. 6-8°C.

Then your acquaintance has most probably been rafting with Sport Ossi in Tyrol. The Imst Gorge is the most loved and I think the most beautiful rafting stretch in the Tyrol. Of course there are always more difficult stretches, like the Otztaler Ache or the Sanna when the water is high, but the “Imsti” as we rafting guides affectionately call it, offers all the possible variations in rafting. Every year about 120,000 guests raft with state qualified rafting guides from registered companies down the approx. 17km long stretch and by doing so become “Imstis”, assuming the guide was happy with their performance. It takes, depending on the water level, about 1 – 1.5 hours and the water temperature is approx. 6 – 8 degrees Celsius.

In the full white water gear and together with your friends, you will take on the river in safety, without any major problems. You will have great pictures and receive an “Imst Rafting Certificate” to remind you of the day. After a cosy rest at the Rafting Lodge in Haiming, it is hard to say goodbye…
